One Thought for the Day

I happened to notice a small tear in my favourite T-shirt. Strangely, I did not feel sadness.

It is a shirt worn many times, washed over and again — a quiet companion through ordinary days. The hours we have shared seem now to be woven into its very threads. And so, even with its frayed edges, it appeared all the more endearing.

Both people and possessions gather depth through wear and time. Within the worn and weathered lies a quiet affection — a sign, perhaps, that something has truly been cherished.
